Music for Special Needs Students
Music Empowers
Research proves that music classes can have a powerful impact on the lives of special needs students (Adamek & Darrow, 2001; Wilson, 2001). No matter the disability, music stirs them to respond in their own unique way. Although physical impairment is their daily reality, music has the power to transcend their limitations and bring joy and delight to their entire being. Her vibration, melody, and beauty are beyond words. This new path is unfolding for Music in the Mountains, and we are delighted to provide music education support for rehabilitation centers in Hubei and Guangxi, China.
